Dražen Petrović Museum
Dražen Petrović Museum (Trg Dražena Petrovića 3, Zagreb) – opened in 2006, this museum is dedicated to Dražen Petrović, Croatia’s greatest athlete (who died in a car crash in 1993). He’s best known for his years of playing pro basketball for the NBA (the first Croat to play for that league). He also captained Zagreb team Cibona to multiple European championships, and won three Olympic medals. This museum offers a place to experience his life and accomplishments as a man and an athlete of exceptional perserverance. Hours: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm (Monday – Friday). Admission: 20 kuna.
