Funicular Railway
Funicular Railway (Tomić Street, Zagreb) – operated by the city’s transit authority (ZET), this hilly two-car cable car service is just 217 feet/66 meters (less than a football field) – making this one of the shortest funicular in the world, connecting Ilica Street to Strossmayerovo šetalište (Strossmayer promenade). It has been in use since 1893 – a relic of previous times. Travelers take this ride for the view of the city that it offers. Fare: 4 kuna.
