TAXI – at one time, taxis in Zagreb were very expensive. Now they’re cheaper, easy to find, and a quicker way to get around the city, especially if you are traveling with a group. You can call a taxi to pick you up, or there are three taxi stands within walking distance of Trg Bana Jelacica, Zagreb’s main square: just south of Flower Square (Cvjetni trg), on Mesnica Street, heading toward the Upper Town, and just west of the Croatian National Theater (HNK).
